i was looking through my computer and this is what i found... another poem about cookie monster.. <br />11.23.04 <br /> <br />Sometimes I feel like sitting and staring into those dark chocolate eyes <br />They make my body tremble with the acceptance of our demise. <br />Lost forever when you leave <br />However, found when I am not to grieve. <br />I can not remember when I have felt such a wonderful presence <br />You bring out my happiness, like the first hunt of the pheasants. <br />Autum colors of red and gold, auburn and lemon cream <br />Before this time was when we felt the powers of our hearts scream. <br />Back then I was frightened to realize what feelings were for me <br />In such self-hate I was led to deep denile I could not see. <br />Prayers and thoughts I spoke to Him above <br />Asking for guidence with signs from a dove. <br />With answers of the truth spoken here <br />I listened and realized you are the one I hold so dear. <br />Trying not to push things too fast <br />I hold back my desire for our first and our last. <br />We are the best together and the worst apart <br />Staring deeply into you, your soul burns into my heart. <br />When will we not have to be separated by the stupid legislation <br />And eventually we will be free from all devistation. <br />Cries from inside tear to get out <br />Hoping only to lead you out of doubt. <br />After we fall our hearts can be as one and we will dance <br />It would be almost as if it was our one and only chance. <br />Pleasedon't let things change once I take this step forward <br />If it is too late its only because Iwas a coward. <br />Hard as it may seem I have fallen for you <br />I hoped that I could show my love for you with this clue. <br />Nothing can change my hopes for us <br />Maybe when we are close no one will ever fuss.<br /><br />Sara Knutson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hoping-for-love/
