My dog Fred is the greatest dog ever bred, <br />He reads the paper and feteches my slippers, <br />In fact he even fixes my breakfast in bed! <br /> <br />Before you ask, <br />I know, <br />This must sound like a bit much, <br />At first I didn't think it was true, <br /> <br />Then I saw for myself would Fred would do, <br />He cleaned up the house while I was gone, <br />He even shopped for me while I was out of town, <br />This is better than man's best friend, <br />He is butler, <br />A maid, <br />A Cook, <br />A Companion, <br />All rolled into one, <br />He is my dog Fred. <br /> <br />However, one day I must have to tell him, <br />Fred, you can't do all of those things, <br />Until that day comes, <br />Please don't give it away. <br /> <br />I would like to enjoy what this day and not be bored, <br />Maybe Fred bring back a treat form the store.<br /><br />Nadalia Bagratuni<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-dog-fred/
