Every child we want to prosper, <br />But must have time to grow. <br />Each one must learn to weather <br />Life's trials and tribulations even more. <br /> <br />Give the child time to mature - through hardships- <br />Strength to combat distress, <br />Let the warmth of each parent, <br />Bathe it in caress. <br /> <br />Do not rush the rearing stage, <br />For a child to bear, <br />Let it slowly grow and mature, <br />Guide its development with tender care. <br /> <br />A sound mind and a sound body <br />will ripen to their best <br />If they are permitted to develop <br />Without being overly pressed.<br /><br />Joseph T.
