watching as they run defiantly across the plains <br />plumes of breath heralding their arrival <br />the earth pounding with the song of their hooves <br />necks arched proudly and tails flying wildly <br />turning as one, revelling in sheer abandonment <br />pleasure almost a visible form as it emanates from within them <br />dust clowd billowing and chasing <br />never quite reaching <br />but then, they are gone! <br />Suddenly and swiftly <br />the earth settles back, peace returns <br />nothing more than a memory now <br />oh! to be so wild and free<br /><br />Jazzy Davies<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/glorious/
