Where there is little love there can be no peace <br />If hearts are at war, thus begins the warring of nations afar <br />Only with peace of the heart can peace start <br />With its absence we have the beginnings, of hate and of war <br />The ultimate cause of destruction among men <br />Evil hearts kill, their friends and their foeWAR HAS NO GAIN? <br /> <br />The agony of war has no? Gain, but pain. <br />As a small child I questioned, “Who won/ <br />I have no answers, still. Sad and senseless <br />I cry, that innocent ones die. Only “fulfilling” <br />Orders, so that we, can once again, stay free. <br />We must never forget, these ones in past wars, <br />Often captured? Tortured, killed, <br /> <br />So I can remain free. <br /> <br />I’ll ever salute, these soldiers, all heroes. <br />I’ve lost some I loved. But to lose one to war, <br /> <br />Would be hell to accept-too crazy, too sad. <br /> <br />Anne S.
