Women know men think that they are <br />Just for sex...and rightfully so. <br />That is how men came up with the <br />Word whore. <br /> <br />Way, back in the day and even now <br />in some places... <br />Women still hide there faces. <br /> <br />Opening the door to what she <br />Wants and not what she needs. <br />It is that thinking which make <br />Women bleed. <br /> <br />When the women consider <br />She is who and who is the gift <br />Gives women a bit of a lift <br /> <br />If there is to be a chain <br />Then let it be long <br />We as women know that <br /> <br />The chain is wrong... <br />When women consider what is life <br />And they have been living it under <br />The knife. <br /> <br />I will get what I need and want <br />Over looking the do's and don't <br />I am woman...Not so different <br />From Eve... <br /> <br />My free will is mine... be it bad <br />Or be it good <br />Whatever; it need not be misunderstood <br /> <br />When women consider the need <br />Deep down they do take heed... <br />When women consider the want <br /> <br />They do things they mostly don't. <br />Eve never needed what the garden said <br />She could not have... <br /> <br />But she wanted it <br />And this she did admit <br />My boy, Adam had to forget <br /> <br /> <br />He was the head <br />Now that role to him was dead <br />He could'nt really blame it on Eve <br /> <br />Used his free will and had no plea <br />Eve never considered <br />What of tomorrow <br />She just tripped over the sorrow. <br /> <br />When women consider who they <br />Are right now <br />They consider the respect... <br />It has a much longer effect <br />Is better in the long run select. <br /> <br />swtlamb@yahoo.com<br /><br />kwane Lamb<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/when-women-consider/
