It looks like stormy weather, <br />Sunshine and rain filled clouds, <br />Heavy rain and rainbows, <br />And peels of thunder loud, <br /> <br />I watch it from the shoreline, <br />I hear the ocean roar, <br />I feel its anger rising, <br />Its wave the darkest hoar, <br /> <br />I let the storm pass over, <br />Embrace its liberty, <br />Like me, its’ had its say now, <br />Now sated, by decree. <br /> <br />Superseded by the sunshine, <br />The storm now lost in time, <br />For now the tempest’s over, <br />And peace and calm is mine.<br /><br />Linda Harnett<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tempest-2/
