An anorexic fly was flying <br />around the kitchen, near the stove <br />he smelled the spuds that they were frying <br />so now and then he slowed and dove <br />down to the pan to have a peek <br />when suddenly a pale, anaemic <br />and funny looking two-winged freak <br />accosted him, said 'I'm bulemic' <br />I am so starved, must have some food.' <br />The anorexic fly was fearful <br />that this bulemic would fall in <br />not only was he very tearful <br />he'd also lost that insect grin. <br />So, fly said go and get some spuds <br />I'll keep an eye out for the cook <br />he did then emptied out his guts <br />that's what is written in the book <br />about bulemics, but those flies <br />who purge their takings aren't up-front <br />and to deceive they will tell lies <br />but please permit me to be blunt <br />it doesn't really bother me <br />that flies can have eating disorders <br />the most important theory <br />about disease causation borders <br />on witchcraft and plain old conjecture <br />the search goes on to find a cure <br />that's why I gave this little lecture <br />I wanted to make really sure <br />that people think about this more <br />prevent the deeds that often kill <br />because the victims never will.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/eating-disorders/
