I had a sketching class today, <br />Actually it was free, I did not pay <br />To draw a very naked man, <br />Who posed in his altogether tan. <br />I started with him forward facing, <br />But I' m not much good, I'm better at 'tracing', <br />So the tutor took me under his 'wing', <br />But even then I could not draw his 'thing', <br />So I moved my chair, face looking 'red', <br />And drew his brown buttocks instead, <br />So therefore, now it has been revealed, <br />Anatomy is not my field, <br />Drawing private parts, although quite OK, <br />I'll save up for another day. <br />Next week a 'still life' I will do, <br />Which I think is more sensible, don't you.<br /><br />Ernestine Northover<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-sketching-class/
