It angers me to hear this. <br />I hate to tell you so. <br />It gets me so frustrated <br />and I had to let you know. <br /> <br />I didn't donate blood <br />because I thought that ''they'' were white. <br />I gave my blood to help them... <br />because I knew that it was right. <br /> <br />When you play the race card <br />it angers many souls. <br />Where once there was compassion, <br />there now are empty holes. <br /> <br />I feel it's not accepted <br />as just a touch from those who care. <br />It turns into a ''race thing'' <br />and that just isn't fair.<br /><br />Mary Nagy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/playing-the-race-card/
