When you take on a challenge <br />it is a test of your ability and willpower. <br />When you fail it is a test of your determination <br />and persistence. <br />When you get tired of failure you stand up tall <br />and turn yourself around. <br /> Charting the stars, mapping your destiny, the route to achievement. <br /> <br />Ambition <br />Persistence <br />Denial <br />Ecstasy <br />Thrill of Danger <br />Disappointment <br /> <br />It can be difficult to force yourself on and gain the motivation to continue. <br />But it’s less painful when there’s somebody else behind you and beside you urging you on. <br /> This spirit for adventure provides a sense of belonging with others. <br /> <br />There is no accomplishment without sacrifice <br />There is no success without disappointment <br />There is no teamwork without arguments <br />There is no achievement without pain. <br /> <br />When tears start to stream and you can’t hold them back, look to your companions to help you fight your doubtful heart. <br /> <br />When hope fades from reaching journey’s end <br />When with every step you stumble <br />When with every dropp of rain falling you bleed <br />And with every cold wind you tremble. <br /> <br />Look to the stars and look in the faces of those who have stood by you and been your guardian and try to tell them <br />I Quit. <br />When emotion takes its grip, when pain overcomes and when sleep creeps in never say <br />That’s It.<br /><br />Jane Tomlin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/don-t-quit-2/
