My Yesterdays are all used up <br />My golden years are past, <br />The end is near yesterday <br />Was mine, as gone not to last, <br />I can only reminisce, <br /> <br />At my age a few tomorrows, <br />I cannot go back as the years are few, <br /> <br />Each day now seems the same, gone <br />So fast, yet so much awaits me as a <br />New day in its path. <br /> <br />For some to get the flu, <br />Some happiness in the newborn <br />Some to witness their last day, <br />As they began eternal life anew.
