Life seems so much easier <br />in the musicals. <br />Pain just seems so much more <br />pleasant <br />and bearable. <br /> <br />I'm not saying Dorothy <br />didn't feel loneliness and pain <br />while she sang <br />'Over the rainbow........' <br />but, she did it beautifully. <br />She did it with a romance <br />and beauty <br />that you don't see <br />in real life. <br /> <br />I'd like to sing through my pain. <br />I'd like to look to the skies <br />and belt out a song <br />with the beauty and grace <br />of healing... <br />and have it heal.<br /><br />Mary Nagy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-wish-life-was-a-musical/
