Do you think God really listens to every <br />single prayer? Most folks assume he’s <br />listening, but how can they know for sure? <br />They probably just keep interpreting <br />everyday coincidences as messages from <br />him, as if he’s responding to them in some <br />sort of goofy indirect code. For instance, <br />yesterday I prayed for an easier life and <br />then later on I was able to twist off the cap <br />on the new salsa jar with hardly any <br />exertion. Some folks would say that was <br />an answer from God. Well, okay... <br />hallelujah, I guess. But the salsa had gone <br />bad. I think the vacuum seal had somehow <br />been broken and that’s why the cap came <br />off so easily. So maybe the rotten salsa <br />could be interpreted as some sort of <br />response to my prayer.
