I lost my dad in 2001 <br />God said it was his time <br />he was sitting down <br />drinking his lemon lime. <br />He liked to watch hockey <br />and pretended to be Rockey <br />he was playing with the ladle <br />sitting at the table. <br />Then all at once <br />he fell to the floor <br />my sister-in-law heard the <br />thump from her bedroom door. <br />That`s when dad died <br />of a heart attack <br />now he lives in my heart <br />his Love I`ll never forget.<br /><br />Tracey Collins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dad/
