You have been to the hospital, <br />and you have a new hip. <br />Old age has made you paranoi, <br />and on your shoulder, you have a chip. <br />You collect your pension, and you have a bet <br />then off to the hairdressers, <br />for a shampoo and set. <br />You meet all your friends, <br />and you sit and have tea. <br />Then you all pay a visit, <br />to the local lavertory. <br />It seems like every ten minutes <br />your running to the loo. <br />Then when you get there, <br />you have to wait in a queue. <br />When you get in the toilet, <br />there's water on the floor. <br />Then you slip and fall over, <br />and hit your head on the door <br />You try to get out, <br />but your in an awkward position, <br />So you call to your friends, <br />for them to make a decision. <br />They call for the attendent <br />Who is no where to be seen, <br />and in the meantime your uncomfortable, <br />because you have just been.<br /><br />sylvia spencer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/senior-moment/
