In the darkness of the winter <br />in the evening of the day <br />Bethlehem was full of wonder <br />tears of truth you heard them say <br />in a manger in a stable <br />at the feet where Mary lay <br />choirs of Angels started singing <br />Christ lives on, it's christmas day <br /> <br />Wise men cried he is the saviour <br />stars were shining clear and bright <br />heralds spread the birth of Jesus <br />people came from far and wide <br />gifts of joy the people praised him <br />tears of grace you heard them pray <br />Angels singing in the heavens <br />Christ lives on, it's christmas day <br /> <br />Hallelujah bells are ringing <br />hallelujah it's today <br />we'll rejoice in all the pleasure <br />as he washed our sins away <br />we'll take love and understanding <br />faith and hope and charity <br />tell the children of the future <br />Christ lives on, it's christmas day.<br /><br />Charles M.
