My words have just stopped flowing, <br />I’m losing all my rhyme. <br />I have to think of something quick, <br />I’m running out of time. <br /> <br />Where is my inspiration? <br />I’ve lost my every bit of thought. <br />Ooh, I think I’ve got it! <br />Oh, wait, I just forgot. <br /> <br />These words just don’t make sense to me, <br />And the moment I think I’m done… <br />I reread all the things I wrote, <br />And realize it’s all wrong. <br /> <br />This time I think I’ve got one, <br />It fits just as it should. <br />No, wait…that doesn’t sound right, <br />No, wait…this is no good. <br /> <br />Ok, I kind of like that, <br />That word works very well, <br />I don’t think this is functioning. <br />But wait! How do I tell? <br /> <br />That letter doesn’t go there, <br />That word doesn’t even rhyme, <br />That comma shouldn’t be there, <br />This poem can’t be mine. <br /> <br />Ugh!
