I sit down with my new machine, <br />It has the specs of a Centaur, <br />I try to assemble the parts, <br />The instructions are an eyesore. <br /> <br />The neuro-net chip goes here <br />Right next to the station rear, <br />Then I'll fit the I/O plug <br />Near this silicon software. <br /> <br />While I'm doing this, <br />I think about the operating system, <br />The number of things it can do, <br />I couldn't even list them. <br /> <br />Then I turned my head to see <br />Nine birds flying in the shape of a V, <br />They were flying <br />Just past my windowsill <br />And suddenly the machineparts before me <br />Seemed just run-of-the-mill.<br /><br />K.
