No rose without its thorns, <br />No life without death... <br />No love without fear? <br /> <br />No thorn without a rose, <br />Don’t remove the thorns <br />From your rose, <br />Let it be, <br />So true and cruel, <br />So beautiful and pure, <br />Take it as it is! <br /> <br />Kiss the petals of a white rose, <br />Your lips never felt such smoothness before, <br />They’ll love the sensation! <br /> <br />Smell the rose before you put it to sleep, <br />You’ll fall asleep with that perfume in your mind, <br />Sweet dreams! <br /> <br />Put your whole hand on the rose’s thorns, <br />Squeeze it until the thorns are in your flesh, <br />Doesn’t it feel wonderful? <br /> <br />Kiss the petals of your fears, <br />Smell the heart of your fears, <br />Squeeze them, <br />Aren’t they wonderful? <br />Don’t they make you feel alive? <br /> <br />Take it as it is, <br />So beautiful and pure, <br />So true and cruel, <br />Let it be, <br />From your rose, <br />Don’t remove the thorns, <br />No thorn without a rose! <br /> <br />No love without fear? <br />No life without death... <br />No rose without its thorns! <br /> <br />©Elya Thorn.
