While I was praying yesterday I started wondering <br />what it would be like to hear an unprocessed audio <br />feed of everyone in the world who was praying at <br />that very moment. It would be like thousands of <br />muttering voices all at once, like an avalanche of <br />prayer. It would sound so incomprehensible and <br />bizarre, don’t you think? Well, that’s what Jesus <br />hears and somehow he makes sense out of it. I <br />wonder if he ever gets bored and plays around with <br />the sound, maybe runs the signal though some <br />studio effects like a digital delay or a phase shifter <br />or even an overdrive. Now THAT would be cool. <br />Maybe some of those Christian rock groups you’re <br />always listening to could use this idea to create <br />some truly innovative and experimental music. Nah, <br />probably not. They’re all so hopelessly lame.
