(something i wrote... age 10) <br /> <br />Basket ball is my favorite sport <br />I like the way you dribble up and down the court. <br />Its a massive amount of three point shots <br /> <br />Ball in my hand, hoop in front of me <br />and for once i actually feel truly free. <br />Also it helps me take out all my energy. <br /> <br />When i feel like pounding my sister <br />I pound the ball instead <br />Bouncing it hard on the ground <br />Is like slapping on the back of her head.. <br /> <br />Whenever I shoot a winning goal <br />Its just like air going to my head. <br />Then noticing Im dancing around <br />My face turns purple not red. <br /> <br />Im swift as a rabbit on the court <br />But its onlii when i play this special sport <br />I have Never tripped or fell <br />or lost my balance from what most can tell <br /> <br />Buzzer thats it my time is up <br />Ive just made the winnig shot and <br />recieved the winning cup <br /> <br />I've recieved a trophy <br />I'm going to put it by my bed <br />But for now i'll write this poem instead <br />Finally im done, Thats it, Thats all... <br />Course except for... <br />I love the game of basket ball<br /><br />Melissa Ferrer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/life-love-and-liberty-for-basketball/
