It’s a holiday for most, work hard its time to play <br />Where shall we go on this holiday? <br />To relax in the sun or sea. Perhaps a picnic by a lake. <br />Or stream, <br /> <br />I work for this day they say: and reserve the right to play. <br /> <br />But the truth is this: “ A sad day for remembrance <br />Sadder than you think for many lives have been <br />Sacrificed just for you to be free” <br />This Memorial Day so many service men are gone, forgotten, <br />Remembered by their love ones that No longer share their views. <br />We build memorials for all to see, the veterans of <br />Vietnam, Korea, world war one and two.
