Did you know that we experience little pieces of hell before we die? <br />I’m not talking about what soldiers experience during war. <br /> <br />I’m talking about those institutional telephone answering systems <br />that make you slog through a maze of menu options and don’t let <br /> <br />you speak with a human being. If your reason for calling doesn’t fit <br />one of their predetermined categories, you wind up floating in <br /> <br />telephone purgatory. The people who program these systems deserve <br />to have their butts kicked by Jesus. And while he’s at it, Jesus <br /> <br />should also kick the butts of all those software helpline operators. <br />These “technical support” jerk-offs deliberately speak a form of <br /> <br />techno-English that is unintelligible. They might as well be speaking <br />Aramaic.
