The season started quiet. <br />His team was just so-so. <br />What got into this baseball kid <br />we may never know! <br /> <br />He went from throwing pitches, <br />to pitching ''in yer face! '' <br />He didn't trot around the field, <br />he flew around each base! <br /> <br />He smoked the ball right by em. <br />They barely saw the ball. <br />The batter just stood silent <br />as the ump hollared his call.... <br /> <br />STRIKE THREE! Oh yeah! He's on it! <br />This baseball kid's on fire! <br />At ten he stands at 5 ft 2...... <br />ID him....I'm no liar! <br /> <br />He steps up to the batters box <br />and gives his mom a wink. <br />The pitch comes in and with a WHACK! <br />we see the fielders shrink! <br /> <br />Over the fence it's GOING, <br />GOING.......GOING.........GONE! <br />This kid might hit the majors <br />and be famous before long! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />**Written for my baseball star Chase!
