My country India's flag has three colors, <br />Some have more, <br />Some have less. <br /> <br />The three stand for life, <br />Liberty, <br />and the pursuit of happiness. <br /> <br />The saffron stripes are for the ribbons of blood spilled fighting for our country, <br />and the undying fire in the spirit and souls of our citizens. <br /> <br />The white stripes stand for the purity of one nation, under God, <br />and the clean slate that all people have before the law of our creator. <br /> <br />The green symbolizes the rich, deep, <br />cloudless skies under which we all are free. <br /> <br />The 24 spokes navy blue wheel <br />represent the individual freedoms of each state and citizen, <br />and show that anything is possible, <br />that nothing is beyond our reach. <br /> <br />My country's flag is the ultimate symbol of freedom, <br />and hope, <br />and life for all people.<br /><br />Mahfooz Ali<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/flag-of-india/
