Many have died, many have perished <br />But this man has yet to fall <br />Gone for months, time that is cherished <br />Yet he still answers the call <br />He is neither the bravest nor the strongest <br />But for freedom, he fights under the sun <br />His time spent fighting is not the longest <br />For at home is where his battles are won <br />He was given a single gun <br />Even when old and tired <br />Never from a battle has he had to run <br />Never a single shot had to be fired <br />Though an expert marksman he has proven <br />And an expert marksman he may be <br />When that single weapon is given <br />His ability in battle you will never see <br />For he is just an average soldier from the Air Force <br />But to have him in my life, I am glad <br />Do I love this man?
