Monday 27 <br />The great escape takes place on Sunday, <br />my cruel captors are driving me insane. <br />I know these human haven't got a clue, <br />Just watching them proves they have no brain! <br /> <br />Tuesday 28 <br />How much do my captors think I can endure? <br />They eat lavish meals as I watch and cry! <br />Chicken, tuna, beef I see them consume, <br />while I'm forced to subsist on food that is dry. <br /> <br />Wednesday 29 <br />Only five more days before my escape, <br />today was boring so I tried to play! <br />So I decided to hang from the curtains, <br />swinging back and forth, such fun to sway! <br /> <br />Thursday 30 <br />Today was one of my worst days yet, <br />the small one with braided ears dressed me. <br />Baby dolls clothes are just so offensive, <br />I pooped in her bed when she set me free! <br /> <br />Friday 31 <br />Sunday can't get here fast enough for me, <br />nothing is mine in the prison of my captor's. <br />So I sprayed on all their furniture and rugs, <br />just before I find my way to the outdoors. <br /> <br />Saturday 1 <br />Just one more day to my great freedom! <br />to celebrate I ate a houseplant or two. <br />Then I went to each of these humans, <br />and gave them all my long farewell mews. <br /> <br />Sunday 2 <br />Yes I'm still in the house, I HATE the outdoors! <br />Wet grass, dogs and squirrels, a felines hell! <br />Besides, I enjoy using my kitty box... <br />I love when the humans yell, 'What's that SMELL?<br /><br />ShellyBean Stanowski<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-indoor-cat-s-diary-feel-free-to-laugh/
