My mom wakes me up <br />With a cup of hot tea, <br />Dad has already kept ready <br />Sunday’s newspapers by me. <br /> <br />Sipping the spicy hot tea <br />I go through the latest news, <br />First in English then Kannada <br />Make a note of my views. <br /> <br />Then I go to the living room- <br />If my sister is watching TV, <br />Then it’s my turn to take bath <br />As bathroom will be free. <br /> <br />After having a relaxing hot bath <br />I pray to god for strength and peace, <br />Mom will get breakfast ready <br />Usually my favourite ‘Lemon Rice’. <br /> <br />I eat as much as I can <br />Take some beetle nuts to chew, <br />Out I go of home for the day <br />To chill out and do something new.<br /><br />Vikram G.
