I gaze upon <br />Fields of color; <br />A mosaic of honeysuckle, <br />Jasmine, Lilies, and Orchids <br />Entwine the tapestry with <br />Lavender, the palest <br />Purple, yellow, and ivory. <br />Nostalgia overwhelms me. <br /> <br />The gentle gurgle, <br />A soft trickle; <br />The brook flowing, softly <br />Babbling, streaming through the field, <br />Slicing crystal blue through <br />The vivid brushstrokes <br />Of lush green speckled with color <br />Carefully laid upon the canvas. <br /> <br />I stare and listen, captivated, <br />Awestruck by the dazzling beauty; <br />Sunshine pours from atop its perch. <br />A glorious melody enchants me <br />And blankets my dull world; <br />Revealing the harmonious wonder <br />With rays of golden light. <br />So warm, bright, blinding, brilliant, <br />A smile crosses my face. <br /> <br />Here comes the Sunshine.<br /><br />Tyler Howat<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/here-comes-the-sun/
