I wear a cloud of loneliness <br />A haze in which I bleed <br />A color of midnight azure <br />Created from senseless need <br /> <br />I hear a sound of solace <br />Of a peace I shall never know <br />I embrace my sunlit sorrow <br />Of which my life shall grow <br /> <br />I taste the salt of my unshed tears <br />As I plummet into my shell <br />I grieve the waste of bitter years <br />And mourn this broken spell <br /> <br />I die each time the moonlight rises <br />Like a phoenix in the flame <br />But my soul never rises <br />And I shall never be the same <br /> <br />Copyright 2006 A.J.
