there it stood <br />a cherry tree.. <br />laden heavily with fruit <br />branches weighed down <br />with ripe red cherries, <br />leaving me wonderstruck and mute, <br />so much sweetness, on just one tree <br />glistening red, among the glossy green, <br />a wondrous sight such as this, <br />I'd hardly ever seen.. <br />Then along came a group of children <br />picked bunches and went their way, <br />I, ve more to give, come one come all, <br />the cherry tree seemed to say, <br />God's love is like the cherry tree, <br />waiting just to be picked, and had, <br />branches bowed with the weight of it, <br />cheering us when we're blue or sad, <br />lets pick the cherries every day, <br />not only when we need <br />lets plant the tree of love today <br />and nurture, with rememberance, the seed. <br />His love is like the cherry tree <br />enough for one and all, <br />submit your cares and worries to Him, <br />and then stand proud and tall.<br /><br />Arti Chopra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-cherry-tree/
