I came to sort a couple things <br />expecting comfort as of right. <br />There's family, my sacred blood <br />surely they'll stand alongside me, <br />together we shall fight this foe <br />and victory will call for all <br />to celebrate the fall of travesty. <br /> <br />It puzzles me, it surely does <br />that I can sit in Grandpa's rocking chair, <br />with tired eyes half closed, <br />and reminisce to distant shores, <br />where smiling faces, full of love <br />wait at the pier, all pupils wide. <br /> <br />I travelled, yes to foreign lands <br />my home, that always longs for me. <br />Yet ruby lips and silk-soft cheeks <br />poetic voices, so formidable, <br />like sirens never met, identity unknown <br />magnetic forces pull, relentlessly, <br />they are my kindred spirits, <br />and they always wait for me.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-miss-you-all/
