The original "Letter of Jamaica" written by South American liberator Simon Bolivar has been discovered in Ecuador. The 1815 letter is an explanation of the anti-colonial liberation movements in the region and calls for unity against the Spanish empire and for the formation of a Grand Republic. It is considered one of the most important documents in the history of the region.This week Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro reported that the document's authenticity had been verified.
