Do not despair, do not cry, <br />I am not gone, <br />Even though I was laid to die. <br />Any time you play, <br />Winging through the rye, <br />Just know, <br />That is me <br />You are flitting by. <br /> <br />I will not sleep, I will not rest, <br />You can find me <br />In those waters caressed, <br />Where the sparkles <br />Come and go <br />Like jewels slipping into <br />The ocean crest. <br /> <br />I will not sleep, I will not lay, <br />You can find me <br />Where the meadows sway, <br />Where the flakes <br />Of shuddering snow <br />Whisk about, <br />Melting away. <br /> <br />I will not sleep, I will not go astray, <br />You can find me <br />Even in this brand new way, <br />In whatever songs <br />The moon wrote <br />For the coming <br />Of a new day. <br /> <br />I will not sleep, I will be near, <br />You can find me <br />In all the faces you'll wear, <br />Every feeling you'll share <br />And the weddings you'll have, <br />Just north of here. <br /> <br />And sweethearts, I will not sleep, <br />You can find me <br />Where the sun-rays creep, <br />Over the seeds <br />Of the Tree of Life <br />Waiting to be reaped. <br /> <br />And if you ever hear a mourn, <br />Some sort of sadness <br />Sniffling to be reborn, <br />Do not be torn, <br />I will die again <br />Before I see you forlorn. <br /> <br />If you hear the wind's howl, <br />A muffled whimper, <br />Moaning out of the blue. <br />This is not me crying, <br />This is just my way of saying, <br />I am still here <br />But I miss you.<br /><br />K.
