August rain running down the drain and it's <br />pitter patter on the window pane. <br />Skys painted like battle ship grey wondering <br />what has happened to the rest of the day. <br />Grass now green from the sun burnt turf. <br />weeds start growing in a total rebirth. <br />A summer heatwave now gone down the <br />drain as you sit and watch the rain do the <br />same.Summer holidays never seem to last <br />when September comes it's all in the past. <br />Kids back to school another costly event. <br />and that was the hot summer that came <br />and went. People will talk about the hottest <br />July ever, but when I was a kid they went on for <br />ever and ever. We had cold winters and our <br />summers were long and hot, but thanks to global <br />warming the whole worlds gone to pot. <br />Snow in countrys that never knew it existed <br />floods and hurricans being named and listed. <br />Weather paterns getting out of controll, so why <br />don't the world just swallow us whole. <br />We are sitting on a time bomb just waiting to explode <br />so come on lets pull together and lighten our load.<br /><br />sylvia spencer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/global-warming/
