Terracotta on the shelf... <br />Plate be painted as in middle sits a winking old elf. <br />Magic plate never gets empty... <br />No longer shopping in grocery stores. <br />What an ideal idea-one so tempting... <br />Only Dawn dish detergent may be used. <br />Scratch my head as i'm so utterly confused... <br />How did this plate come to my corner of this world? <br />Did it fly and later twas' it twirled? ... <br />This magic plate finally did fall to ground. <br />Fro' my lips was heard a moanful sobbing sound... <br />Now it's off to the grocery store again that i must trudge. <br />Dagg nab it and a well shouted loud vocalized aw shoot and oh fudge! ... <br />No more free magical food will amazingly appear onto my plate. <br />My miraculouse magical eating will dissipate to never reappear <br />as ever it's way too late for my new found magic food that i've ate... <br />Now i only wish that i would find a magic lamp to rub and bring me <br />unlimited deliciouse dishes with but unlimited wishes. <br />Then i'd have forever my very own unlimited supply of many unnumbered dishes... <br />Would these dishes consist of turkey or chickeny fishes? <br />I'd eat for life and get married as easy... <br />A woman who won't have to cook would gladly jump at the chance to become my married loving wife. <br />Boy her life would be easy and breezy... <br />Unlimited income to spend as we wish to do. <br />No more frickin' bill collectors calling us and no more bills long over due... <br />If this would come to pass what else in life would i have to do? <br />Spend da money Honey! ! .... <br />Of course! of course! <br />That's the direction that i'd drive, as easily as if i had ridden a horse.<br /><br />Michael Gale<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-magical-plate-and-a-magic-lamp-of-unlimited-wi/
