There was a young poet named Chuck <br />Who flirted with old Lady Luck <br />He played her in bed <br />Thought he'd come out ahead <br />But that dame took his very last buck <br />_________________________________________________ <br /> <br />They met again while throwing some dice <br />To entice him, she gave him sliced mice <br />'Yuck, gimme back my last buck! ' <br />'No - - but Happy Birthday, dear Chuck! ' <br />Darned Lady Luck never does ring twice... <br />_________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Luck took Chuck to the beach down the block <br />Along with a duck, she gave him a clock <br />When the loud alarm struck <br />The duck mocked a hen's cluck <br />Locking Lady Luck straight into shock - - <br /> <br />and her knees began to knock <br />so she fell right off that dock <br />into the mire, the ick, the muck <br />which immediately began to suck <br />her dowwwn so she became QUITE stuck........ <br />So, who got the last laugh?
