I want to reach out into the sky <br />Of the sky of the sky <br />And seize the sun <br />From shining on the rye, <br />And let all the shadows <br />Reflect as one. <br /> <br />Just stop everything, <br />Wind down every clock, <br />Every tick-tock <br />Of boats swishing at the dock. <br />And let me shrink <br />And think <br />To link <br />Myself to this world, <br />Now unfurled <br />To a kink. <br /> <br />And let me stand naked in the night, <br />In the shadow of the dark <br />And all is stark <br />As I hark <br />This emptiness of fright, <br />And not a star, <br />Not from afar <br />Seems to be shining bright. <br /> <br />So give me one more breath <br />To sniff this bliss, <br />This glowing mist <br />Of nothingness. <br />And I'm lost in me, <br />In my world so free, <br />Unable to see death.<br /><br />K.
