i hear spirits! <br />dare i say it? <br />faeries tell me things... <br />whispering like misty mornings <br />mysteries and dreams. <br /> <br />tickling my <br />sensibilities with subtle thoughts. <br />which list like wisps of eiderdown <br />on gentle breeze aloft. <br /> <br />they lead me off to <br />secret places <br />hidden 'mongst the trees. <br />where all the Fates <br />have congregated, <br />murmuring like honey bees. <br /> <br />chanting and imagining <br />what destiny shall rise, <br />like as the moon <br />and winds conspire <br />to generate the tides! <br /> <br />i hear voices, <br />singing odes and <br />poetry and such. <br />filling all my days with laughter <br />wisdom and with lust. <br /> <br />and one day when the moon is new <br />i'll simply fly away. <br />become like them <br />a bit of mist <br />vanished in the grey. <br /> <br />then i will whisper <br />into some ear <br />able to receive <br />and unto other longing heart <br />give reason to believe.<br /><br />moon batchelder<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/faeries-tell-me-things/
