That morning cuppa, <br />wakes you uppa. <br />and helps u start the day, <br />to sip the brew and savour the aroma, <br />gives strength, and paves the way. <br /> <br />to wake up early, <br />and drink a cup <br />is fuel for the lazy like me, <br />the hot brown brew., just peps you up <br />the days jobs helps you to see. <br /> <br />and when youre tired <br />by mid afternoon, <br />a pickme up is required, <br />another hot cup, of the aromatic brew, <br />has you right on your feet, and rewired. <br /> <br />and a chat with a friend, <br />over a hot steaming cup, <br />is a sure panacea, for temporary depression, <br />out pourings from the heart, with a loved confidante <br />no need for deception or supression. <br /> <br />some like mint, some like apple, <br />and some just plain ol good tea, <br />but nothing like a cup of the hot brown <br />brew, for people like you and me... <br /> <br />people have vices, they smoke or they drink, <br />addicted to paan or gum, <br />for me its my cuppa of good old tea, <br />no addiction to whisky or rum. <br /> <br />so hurrah for the cuppa <br />that wakes you uppa, <br />thank God for whoever invented it. <br />I love my cuppa in the morning and evening, <br />a lovely habit, I never repented it.<br /><br />Arti Chopra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/that-morning-cuppa/
