This is a poem about two lovers. One already in a hot shower awaiting the entry of his much awaited mate into the shower. The hot water runs out as well as the two occupants shocked by coldness unexpected. <br />This poem was inspired by a poem by the poet Suchoon Mo_. <br />Suchoon Mo_'s poem title is 'Tragedy In A Hot Shower'. My thanks goes out to him for this poem of mine would not have ever been able to have been written without inspiration by him. <br /> <br /> <br />Taking A Cold Shower Can Put A Real Damper On Two Unsuspecting Lovers. <br /> <br /> <br />Ice cubes keep a'fallin' on my head... <br />Straightly fro' the shower do'th coldness spread. <br />Ice sickles just a-burrrr-in' right at me... <br />Look at 'em hang fro' thee. <br />Hhhhow cold-a-ley? ... <br />Frosty shower bequeeth thee coldest hour. <br />Please do step into here with thee... <br />Close off thy shower curtain for certain. <br />Too too much colden water just-a-squirtin'.... <br />Grab the towel while'st thee doth enter thy tub. <br />Glub, glub, glub, water up thy snout... <br />Outward and downward doth thy water come out thy non-stop spout. <br />Cold freezing water spoils this yearning loving hour... <br />Out we jump as with quickened speed. <br />Thought by us that lust was about to bring to us a sexual wanting need... <br />Mood set dead. <br />By cold water not shed... <br />Beneath this coldy shower.<br /><br />Michael Gale<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/taking-a-cold-shower-can-put-a-real-damper-on-tw/
