Two inquisitive people came to my house <br />Invesigated the dining room and the lounge <br />Tipped the cushions on the floor and emptied the bins <br />Before going into the bathroom to discover towels <br />However their antics in there soon bored them <br />So they went into the conservatory instead <br />Where plants in pots made a smashing noise <br />Bringing down earth, what a lovely surprize <br />But the garage they found was out of bounds <br />The door having been locked, before they arrived <br />Therefore back into the house once more <br />To totally wreck the understairs cupboard <br />Before going upstairs into the bedrooms <br />To leap on the bed and have play fights <br />Till the covers were all every which way, but tidy <br />But now I called them down for supper <br />Finally full fed, they laid down together <br />Two little kittens curled up in front of the fire.<br /><br />Marilyn Shepperson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/two-inquisitive-people/
