Its hurts to think that when you close your eyes it is painfully dark <br />Not able to see the beautiful things, nor a majestic journey to embark <br />Only to travel inside the imagination of your own lonely thoughts <br />Paralyzed reality of others wants and needs to leave you helplessly distraught <br />Handcuffed happiness arises when the day includes smooth transitions <br />A day without any of the melodrama, to sustain with empty ambitions <br />A deaf mind attempting to scream out loud for help with a mute voice <br />Reaching out for others with a severed soul emotionally destroyed <br />Physically held hostage in this empty world, in chains you are tied <br />Blackmailed and soul beaten from the thoughtless time after time <br />Selfishness slices into your soul and imagination, you are beckoned and come forth <br />Which burns into your self esteem until your thoughts equal no worth <br />Taken down to their level each and every time, even further down you sink <br />Your privileges taken away only leaving you longer allowed to think <br />I am very sympathetic to where you are at in this lonely f-up life <br />Especially when peoples words and actions cuts your soul like a burning knife <br />Know that you are always welcome in my world, a vacation spot for your soul <br />In times of peace and in times of war, a knight whom is always on patrol...... <br /> <br />Poem in response to 'Missing' by Villie Beebs<br /><br />Nyrical Poet<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/knight-on-patrol/
