The room surrounds my waking mind <br />Something feels unreal - <br />I watch from under hooded lids <br />Three figures in the mist; <br />Cloaked in black with lazer eyes <br />They turn their sight to me <br />Searing thoughts flash through my mind - <br />They plan my destiny; <br />Awareness of some sort of speech <br />Although no sound I hear <br />I understand each word they 'speak' <br />Their thoughts are crystal clear; <br />My instinct is to run and hide <br />My body won't comply <br />I lay in frozen terror now <br />God! Free me from those eyes! <br />Next day at work I ask for drugs <br />To sleep - my mind is wound - <br />Seems darkness brings uneasiness <br />And I am losing ground <br />Concerned about the side effects <br />My doctor asks point blank <br />'Do you think you're pregnant? ' <br />I know there's not a chance; <br />'Let's run a test and just be sure, <br />I'll call and let you know' <br />Two hours pass and comes the call - <br />'It's positive!
