My eyes keep getting misty this winter. <br />So much quiet cold at night <br />just to wait for you in the morning. <br /> <br />I am weak <br />of the unstable kind. <br />My wheels are used up <br />but I like the way <br />you handle speed <br />on those secondary roads. <br /> <br />Please, regulate the mirrors <br />and you´ll get a better view <br />at the sides. <br /> <br />I´ve always been with you. <br />I never failed you, <br />not even once, <br />in spite of that personal way <br />to drive in the city. <br /> <br />I understand your fear <br />because you use <br />brakes and throtle <br />in its pace. <br /> <br />I´ve learnt to accept <br />you prefer me <br />to have a smoke… <br /> <br />I know you can clean up <br />the morning frost <br />and your coffee smells <br />of loneliness. <br /> <br />I like your sensitivity to light, <br />you can feel its joy. <br />I can see it too.<br /><br />Luis Gil de la Puente<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/2-marching/
