Halloween,2007 <br />The 'guest' arrived in droves <br />Until finally a straggler came almost too late, <br />While in the shadows an adult waited. <br /> <br />'Trick or Treat' was whispered <br />Almost too quite to hear <br />Unless you were at the door, standing near. <br />This one had no idea of what to fear. <br /> <br />Candy for the treat was offered <br />With no questions asked. <br />'What tricks might be in store? ' <br />There was silence, nothing more. <br /> <br />'What a costume you have <br />So pretty and nice <br />Just the one for this Halloween.' <br /> <br />And the most beautiful words to hear: <br />'My Mom Made It!
