It was a beautiful morning <br />Read on...This is an experience so darning <br />It was not so bright, and not so dark <br />But in my heart it left a mark <br /> <br />A skirmish was going on between the sun and rain <br />And then what happened, who lost and who had the gain? <br />Sun and wind were allies, cloud was rain's buddy <br />Was it a serious battle or a parody? <br /> <br />Sky: Sun was being blocked by the brawny cloud <br />Earth: Peacocks were dancing, cuckoos singing aloud <br />Sky: Rain was being stopped by the sturdy storm <br />Earth: The earthly creatures were enthralled by the events charm <br /> <br />The scene in the earth and the sky was differing <br />And yet there was no suffering <br />Human heart had a great rejuvenation <br />And had no knowledge of the battles beginning or conclusion <br /> <br />Then the sun and rain decided to compromise <br />And also determined to formalize <br />There was not the normal white flag, but instead the rainbow <br />Depicting 7 colors for the Sun, Rain, Cloud, Wind, Earth, Sky and peace...Indeed it was a great show.<br /><br />Kavitha Krishnamurthy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sun-vs-rain/
