Flagging, floundering spirits <br />Are revived <br />In the labyrinthine landscape <br />Of the sea <br />Of faith. <br />Faith has a face <br />Transfused with wisdom, <br />Tempered by suffering, <br />Transmitting an air <br />Of the most fragrant fortitude. <br />Faith has a fiery, far-away look, <br />An incredibly fast-moving brain, <br />And an extremely determined air <br />Of dash and daring. <br />Faith has a flair for firmly believing <br />In the fruitful and ultimate fulfilment <br />Of all God's promises. <br />Faith is an inspiring breath of fresh air <br />In the dark, lonesome dungeons <br />Of doubt and despair. <br />Faith struggles to persevere, <br />Struggles to hope, <br />Struggles to endure, <br />Struggles to live. <br />Fiery faith <br />Always involves <br />A struggle with <br />The Unknown. <br /> <br />© Miriam Jacob<br /><br />MIRIAM JACOB<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fiery-faith/
