I walked home and I saw nothing. <br />No lights no warm. <br />No love and no cry. <br />It borders my heart. <br /> <br />I’ve played my role <br />Act well to be a good teen <br />Be the best as a kid <br />But not a hint of them <br />Do make me out. <br /> <br />Then I go to school <br />As the other child <br />With whole expectation and prayers <br />Starting my first journey <br />And stand at the beginning. <br /> <br />3 years had been passed <br />Did many stuffs <br />Haven’t done many things <br />But yet I got something could lasts. <br /> <br />She taught me the whole thing <br />She taught me how to forgive <br />She taught me how to love <br />She taught me how to behave. <br /> <br />She held me far into her heart <br />She put love inside my eye <br />She gave me the first hug I ever had <br />For the entire of my life. <br /> <br />And yet I’m here <br />Good as she suppose I would be <br />Better than before <br />Best of all I’ve ever been. <br /> <br />And now we’re graduating <br />Toss the hats <br />Fling the bad moments <br />Up above the sky. <br /> <br />And so she whispered to me <br />When you feel that <br />The world looks down on you <br />Just remember that, <br />I will look you high than anyone. <br />I will be the glow <br />And I will bring the warm <br />Whenever you feel bitter. <br />And when you feel the warmness <br />Let it be me… <br />And thank God you’re forever in me.<br /><br />Missy Melita<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/forever-in-me/
